NEW ORLEANS — Feb. 23, 2007 — At the 2007 Health Information and Management Systems Society Conference (HIMSS07), Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer will deliver the opening keynote address, discussing the role of innovation in healthcare and providing insights on how technology can serve a role in transforming both the patient and provider experience. During the address, Ballmer will introduce new initiatives Microsoft is launching to address issues regarding health data, health technology systems and improving overall patient care.
