Results Are In: Microsoft Announces Customer Excellence Award Winners

REDMOND, Wash. — Feb. 25, 2008 — Thirteen outstanding Microsoft Dynamics customers will be honored with Microsoft Corp.’s semiannual Customer Excellence Awards at Convergence 2008 in Orlando, Fla., the company’s premier event for Microsoft Dynamics customers taking place March 11–14.

The award winners are global customers that span a variety of industries, reflecting the adaptability and scalability of Microsoft Dynamics business management solutions and the innovation of the Microsoft Dynamics network of more than 9,900 partners worldwide.

Listed below are the winners:

  • Overall Excellence: United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE)

  • Excellence in Multinational Implementation: The Associated Press

  • Excellence in Innovation: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

  • Excellence in Environmental Sustainability: Seventh Generation Inc.

  • Excellence in Academics: Western Michigan University

  • Excellence in Evangelism: Raymond James Financial Inc., OAKLEAF

  • Distribution Industry Leadership: Roland DGA Corp.

  • Healthcare Industry Leadership: Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML)

  • Manufacturing Industry Leadership: BTD Manufacturing Inc.

  • Public Sector Industry Leadership: Cook County Clerk’s Office

  • Retail Industry Leadership: Dallas Cowboys

  • Services Industry Leadership: Swisher Hygiene

Winners were chosen based on outstanding success in the use of Microsoft Dynamics applications. Winners will be acknowledged during the March 12 Convergence keynote address and honored at a luncheon hosted by Steve Ballmer, chief executive officer of Microsoft, and Kirill Tatarinov, corporate vice president of Microsoft Business Solutions.
