REDMOND, Wash., March 9, 1999 — Microsoft Corp. today announced agreements with DLJ direct Inc., Fidelity Investments and Waterhouse Securities Inc. to provide time-saving, one-click online brokerage account downloads for customers using the MSN

personal finance online service Web site ( http://moneycentral.MSN.com/ ), and Microsoft® Money 99 personal finance software. MSN MoneyCentral now provides more direct statement download options than any other personal finance Web site.

In addition to the leading brokerages announced today, MSN MoneyCentral also offers direct account access from Charles Schwab & Company Inc. and E*TRADE Securities Inc. The one-click statement downloads are automatically entered into the award-winning MSN MoneyCentral Portfolio Manager. MSN MoneyCentral features the most customizable portfolio manager on the Web, with sophisticated portfolio analysis and powerful charting capabilities that help users stay on top of their investments.
