About HAHT e-Scenarios

The HAHT e-Scenario product line allows for immediate, online deployment of frequently performed business functions, distilling complex ERP transactions into simple business scenarios that are customizable for each user. The HAHT approach builds on customers’ existing investment in SAP R/3, PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems to ensure performance, security and reliability.

Since HAHT’s launch of the e-Scenario product line in February 1999, many companies have chosen HAHT solutions – which are built on the Windows platform and utilize Windows DNA technologies including COM – to automate complex enterprise processes and push ahead of their competitors. Some of the companies utilizing this technology include Harmon Consumer Electronics, Lam Research, Printronix Inc., Respironics Inc., Sigma Aldrich Information Services, Sloan Valve, Tellabs Ltd. and US Print.

HAHT e-Scenarios rely on the HAHTsite® application server platform and development environment to seamlessly incorporate HAHT’s specialized services into a Windows DNA solution for executing distributed multitier business logic, secure content management, linear scalability and load balancing, 24×7 availability, packaged application delivery and other capabilities required to support demanding enterprise-class Internet applications.

“We are quite pleased with the capabilities of Windows DNA,”
said Michael Kelley, development vice president at HAHT.
“We are able to deliver high-performance solutions that scale up or down as appropriate for a given customer size and need.”

e-Scenario business objects for system integration, transaction management and connectivity are based on COM. The most widely adopted component model, COM runs on more than 150 million systems worldwide, speeds up the development process and offers developers the advantage of programming language independence. This allows developers to create COM components using familiar tools and languages, such as the Microsoft Visual Basic® development system, C++ and Java. HAHT solutions can be programmed in either the Java or Visual Basic languages. More information is available at http://www.haht.com/windowsdna.html .
