Microsoft Announces Certified Partner Award Finalists

REDMOND, Wash., June 26, 2001 — Microsoft Corp. today announced 60 finalists for the global Microsoft® Certified Partner Awards. A panel of Microsoft judges selected the finalists from 775 entries submitted by solutions and services partners worldwide. Finalists were determined based on excellence and innovation in customer solution delivery and service. The winner in each of the 12 award categories will be announced July 15 at Microsoft’s Fusion 2001 partner event in Anaheim, Calif.

Fusion is Microsoft’s annual technology and business briefing for industry partners worldwide. About 3,000 partners are expected to attend. Fusion 2001 will be held July 13-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center and will feature a keynote presentation by Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates. Several other senior Microsoft executives will discuss strategies, emerging enterprise technologies and business opportunities for industry partners. Ian Rogoff, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft, will host Fusion 2001 and will announce the Certified Partner Award winners.

Microsoft Certified Partner Award finalists will be selected from each of the following categories: Anti-Piracy Advocate of the Year, ASP Solution of the Year, Business Intelligence Solution of the Year, Microsoft CTEC Solution of the Year, Collaborative Solution of the Year, CRM Solution of the Year, E-Commerce Solution of the Year, ERP Solution of the Year, Infrastructure Solution of the Year, Packaged Application of the Year, Small Business Solution of the Year and Support Services Solution of the Year.
