Microsoft and Artemis Solutions Group Reach Trademark Settlement

REDMOND, Wash. — Aug. 19, 2005 — Microsoft Corporation and Artemis Solutions Group (USA) (http://www.artemis-usa.com) announce they have reached a confidential settlement agreement resolving a trademark infringement action filed by ASG regarding its registered trademark, BioCert®. ASG’s intellectual property lawyers, Ken M. Peterson (http://www.morrislaing.com) and Jack Baldwin (http://www.baldwinlaw.com) announce they are satisfied Microsoft has proceeded in good faith. As part of the settlement, ASG will retain its trademark rights and will dismiss its action against Microsoft.
