Over the past week, Microsoft participated in two days of inspiring events in two cities — We Day Seattle and We Day California.
This is part of the company’s three-year commitment to sponsor Free The Children’s signature We Day event and the We Act yearlong in-school community service program in Washington and California. Through their community service, more than 30,000 youth earned their way to We Day Seattle on March 21, and We Day California March 26.
Microsoft is proud to support them and help inspire more young people make changes in their communities and the world. These star-studded arena-sized events included motivational speakers, activists and celebrities. Students heard from Seth Rogen, Orlando Bloom, Martin Luther King III, Edward Norton, the Seattle Seahawks and Selena Gomez, to name just a few.
