Eight players from around the world chosen for ‘Every Street United’ soccer tournament

After a search to uncover the best street soccer players from around the world, eight players from Argentina, Brazil, England, Ghana, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain and the United States have been selected by legendary footballers Thierry Henry and Edgar Davids to represent their countries in the game of their lives, the “Every Street United” competition in Rio de Janeiro this summer.

One of the most requested community features the Xbox One team has received is the ability to view your Xbox One data on Xbox.com. “We’re happy to announce that the first of these elements — your Xbox One profile, Achievements, friends, followers and game clips — will be viewable on Xbox.com beginning next week,” writes Xbox Wire.

Battling dehydration on the pitch: The Internet of Things helps soccer teams monitor energy drink consumption

The Windows Embedded team notes a story on PSFK about one team’s use of special Gatorade bottles at the world’s premier soccer event that are equipped with sensors to track how much each player drinks. The information is then sent in real time to coaches and trainers, who are able to view and track the information via a hydration tracking app.
