November Silicon Valley Speaker Series: Trustworthy Computing — Today and in the Future

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 6, 2002 — On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Microsoft Corp.’s Silicon Valley Speaker Series will feature Craig Mundie, senior vice president and CTO of advanced strategies and policy, who will discuss the company’s Trustworthy Computing initiative.

The discussion will focus on the progress Microsoft is making toward its long-term goal of offering safe, private and reliable computing experiences for everyone. Mundie also will discuss the industry efforts necessary to make Trustworthy Computing a reality. These include addressing the evolution of today’s software and services, and building fundamentally safer technologies for tomorrow.
