Microsoft appoints Orla McGrath and Soraya Scott to UK leadership team

Microsoft has appointed Orla McGrath and Soraya Scott to the UK leadership team.

Orla McGrath (above, left), former managing director at Accenture, will lead the Microsoft Partner organisation and Soraya Scott (above, right) joins as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for UK marketing, product strategy and transformation.

During her time at Accenture, Orla led their cloud-first applications business in the UK and Ireland, and drove the company’s cloud transformation. She worked with clients to ready their businesses for the digital age by using cloud technologies and platforms to drive business growth.

Soraya joins from Microsoft’s International business, where she was previously the Chief of Staff for Jean-Philippe Courtois,  EVP and President, Global Sales, Marketing & Operations. During her 13-year tenure, Soraya has held a number of leadership positions across the organisation, including leading Specialist Sales in Australia and roles across enterprise, public sector and services.
