CIOL: Microsoft expands security capabilities to desktop apps like Word & PowerPoint

To protect users from malicious links, Microsoft will be launching a new security feature used on Outlook emails for Office 365 ProPlus desktop users later this month. The feature which is already available on desktop, web, and mobile platform for its Outlook email client, is now coming to Microsoft’s most prominent productivity apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
