Business Standard: 86% of firms to upgrade to Windows 10 in 3-4 years

Of 400 mobile technology firms in the US and four European countries surveyed, 86 per cent said they will upgrade their Windows PCs to Windows 10 within three to four years. Results from the Decision-Maker Mobile Technology Survey, highlighting the shifts in technology buying and spending levels, identified trends in both the acceleration of Windows 10 adoption. According to the survey, 47 percent of the surveyed organizations said they would upgrade to Windows 10 in the next 12 months.

DNA India: Microsoft announces licensing program to push connected car tech

Aiming to have a larger presence in the connected car space, Microsoft has announced a new licensing platform that will enable automobile companies to share certain intellectual property (IP) from the tech company when partnering with them to integrate better technology experiences into their vehicles. Peggy Johnson, executive vice president of Business Development at Microsoft said, “Our mission is to empower car makers with technology that allows them to focus on building even better driving experiences for their customers.”
