At Open Compute Project (OCP) Summit 2017, Qualcomm Incorporated, through its subsidiary, Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies, Inc. (QDT), has announced a collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate next generation cloud services on its 10 nanometer Qualcomm Centriq 2400 platform. This collaboration will span multiple future generations of hardware, software and systems.

In a recent global survey conducted by Microsoft, it was revealed that 61 percent women in India had faced online risk personally, and around 65 percent reported that they knew of family or a friend who had been subjected to it. While 70 percent reported being highly concerned about online safety, the concern is that only 42 percent of women knew where to get help.

The Next Web: Microsoft Teams launches next week

Microsoft announced Teams back in November, but so far it’s been limited to a fairly small batch of preview users. On March 14, at 8:30AM PT, Microsoft will host an online event marking general availability for Office 365 users, where users can expect the company to show off how to use some of Teams’ best features, and perhaps even some new integrations they haven’t seen yet.
