Reid Hoffman is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive and investor, and has played an integral role in building many of today’s leading consumer technology businesses.

In 2003 Hoffman co-founded LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional networking service.

In 2009 Hoffman joined Greylock Partners, where he focuses on building products that can reach hundreds of millions of participants and businesses that have network effects. In 2019 Hoffman joined Reinvent Capital and serves as Advisory Partner.

Hoffman serves on the board of directors for Joby Aviation. He also serves on the boards of several private companies and non-for-profits.

Hoffman holds a master’s degree in philosophy from Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree with distinction in symbolic systems from Stanford University.

Hoffman joined the Microsoft board as an independent director in March 2017.
