From now on, if you’re looking for posts about Lync, you’ll find them on the Office Blogs. The Lync Team blog is being consolidated into the Office Blogs platform to make it easier for you to find information about all Office apps, especially as Microsoft moves to frequent updates across all Office products.

Now you can print Word, Excel and PowerPoint docs from your iPad

You can now print Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations from your iPad, the Office Blogs announced Tuesday. The new feature comes as part of the first update to the Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad apps, released last month.

New features for Office Remote improve video play, presenter control

Word Online adds comments, better lists and footnotes

Just like in other versions of Word, you can add, view, reply and delete comments in the margins. Auto-numbering for lists has also become more intelligent about knowing when you’re continuing a previous list, or starting a new list. Now you can create and edit footnotes without leaving the context of your writing.
