Microsoft Empowering Vietnamese Businesses To Lead The Era of AI

 |   Microsoft Vietnam Communications

HCMC, Vietnam – January 18, 2024: Microsoft today organized the “Leading the Era of Artificial Intelligence” summit for Vietnamese organizations and businesses to explore and anticipate artificial intelligence (AI) trends, solutions, and technologies, to enhance business value, promote innovation, and accelerate the digital transformation journey in the era of AI. At the summit, Microsoft announced many of Copilot’s latest features to enhance the experience for individual and business users, including the Copilot Pro premium for individuals, the Copilot application on iOS and Android; and Copilot for Microsoft 365 for small businesses.

As AI becomes more woven into society, its impact will be significant to the global economy. According to the latest study commissioned by IDC and Microsoft with more than 2,100 businesses in 16 countries around the world on “The business value and opportunity of AI“, about 71% of respondents say their companies are already using AI, and 22% planning to do so within the next 12 months. Organizations that have implemented AI see an 18% increase in customer satisfaction, employee productivity, and business market share.

For every $1 companies invest in AI, they are realizing an average of $3.5 in return and 5% of organizations worldwide are realizing an average of $8 in return. The study also shows that organizations participating in the survey are also prioritizing more investment in AI. Specifically, 43% of organizations plan to reduce spending in other areas of the business to reallocate spending towards AI within 24 months.

Mrs. Nguyen Quynh Tram, Country General Manager of Microsoft Vietnam, said: “Microsoft recognizes AI as the defining technology of our era. However, AI is not a target, but a means to achieve greater goals. AI will empower us to perform tasks better and faster than ever before. In the age of AI, the more an organization learns and adopts AI, the more it will thrive. At Microsoft, our technological innovations are driven by our mission of enabling every person and organization to achieve more. We are dedicated to supporting every Vietnamese organization and business in harnessing the potential and value of AI to enhance their performance and growth, then to foster the digital economy of Vietnam.”
