Bob Bejan, Interactive Media Pioneer, Joins The Microsoft Network Division

REDMOND, Wash., March 25, 1996 — Microsoft Corp. today announced that Bob Bejan, former vice president of creative development at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has joined The Microsoft Network division at Microsoft. As executive producer for the U.S. version of MSN
™
, The Microsoft Network, Bejan will be responsible for all content and programming implementations for MSN in the United States.

“Bob’s creative background and broad knowledge of multimedia and the interactive environment will add tremendous value in programming and production to MSN.”

Bejan’s experience in the field spans 14 years with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Interfilm Inc., Virtual World Entertainment, Controlled Entropy Music Inc. and Bejan/Nelson Entertainment Inc. At Warner Bros., where he was vice president of creative development, Bejan created, developed and produced all original programming for Warner Bros. Online for both online commercial services and the World Wide Web. In 1992, Bejan founded Interfilm Inc., an interactive motion picture studio, where he defined and negotiated a multipicture distribution alliance with Sony Pictures’ new technologies group. Bejan also founded Controlled Entropy Music Inc. in 1989. There, he acquired all rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
™
for performance and merchandising.

Bejan received a bachelor of arts degree in theater from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. He is a member of the Directors Guild, the Writers Guild and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Bejan’s title is executive producer. He will be responsible for defining the scope and style of MSN and its programming. These responsibilities will continue to make optimal use of his creative, leadership and entrepreneurial abilities.
