REDMOND, Wash., March 3, 1997 — Microsoft Corp. today announced it has acquired Inters

Corp., the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based software developer of the award-winning Inters

Microsoft plans to integrate Inters
émarket focus 3 into the Microsoft® BackOffice TM family of products, enhancing Microsoft’s comprehensive Internet and intranet Web site solutions. Inters

market focus 3 enables Web professionals to integrate, manage and examine Internet user behavior data, providing maximum business results from marketing investments. This powerful usage-analysis capability complements Microsoft’s existing Internet authoring, Web application development, Web server and content management solutions.
