Microsoft and Announce .NET-Based Strategic Alliance

REDMOND, Wash., and SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 22, 2001 — Microsoft Corp. and Corp., the leading security Application Service Provider (ASP), today announced a strategic alliance that will integrate Microsoft® .NET technologies into’s Web-based security services. As the first step on the road to .NET, will soon launch a new and unique security service integrated with Microsoft Passport to provide single sign-on and registration across multiple Web properties. Additionally, the companies will integrate new
services, such as notifications, as they are made available.
