Microsoft to Launch Pocket PC 2002

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 3, 2001 — On Thursday, Oct. 4, Microsoft Corp. and industry partners will launch Microsoft® Windows® Powered Pocket PC Software and introduce Pocket PC 2002 devices for widespread retail availability at the Concourse in San Francisco. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, will deliver a keynote address showcasing the latest Pocket PC 2002 solutions.
