FARGO, N.D., March 18, 2002 — Microsoft Great Plains recently announced the winners of its sixth annual customer achievement awards. The Pinnacle Awards honor Microsoft Great Plains customers that achieve outstanding success with their Microsoft® Great Plains®
solutions, including Dynamics, eEnterprise and Solomon. Pinnacle Awards were presented in the categories of Innovation, Evangelism, Excellence in Customer Service, Excellence in Specialized Applications, Excellence in Business Analytics, Excellence in Teamwork and Overall Excellence. The awards were presented during Convergence 2002, a four-day international business conference for Microsoft Great Plains customers and their partners, held in Orlando, Fla.

The Evangelism Awards are presented to customers that have demonstrated a strong commitment to their Microsoft Great Plains solution. The Excellence in Customer Service Awards honor customers whose business management system helps them measurably improve the value and level of services delivered to their internal and/or external customers.
The Excellence in Specialized Applications Awards recognize customers that utilize specialized applications through Microsoft Great Plains or their partners to achieve measurable benefits for their organization that would not have been accomplished without the solution.
The Excellence in Business Analytics Awards recognize customers that utilize analytical applications to discover insights into the financial performance of their organization, leading to enhanced profitability, operation and management. Candidates for this award are evaluated on profitability improvement, operational performance gains and management effectiveness.
The Excellence in Teamwork Awards recognize customers whose collaborative efforts within their organization, with Microsoft Great Plains or their partners, has produced a result that would not have been achieved without the collaboration.
The Overall Excellence Award recognizes a customer that demonstrates extraordinary efforts within multiple Pinnacle award categories.
