LONDON —Oct. 2, 2006
Who: MSN will stream an exclusive online live performance from the award-winning John Legend from Royal Albert Hall in London.
“This is a very important part of launching John Legend’s new record. ‘Once Again,’ is getting people to hear lots of music,” said Seth Friedman of DAS Communications. “I am always looking for alternatives to traditional radio delivery, and Control Room on MSN® is shaping up to be a great platform.”
What: The John Legend concert is the first online stream resulting from the recently announced multiyear global content distribution agreement between MSN and Control Room (formerly Network LIVE), the No. 1 provider of live digital entertainment and the producers of Live 8.
Additional artists scheduled to appear on MSN through the relationship with Control Room include Rod Stewart from the Nokia Theater in New York City on Oct. 9, John Mayer from Webster Hall in New York City later this fall and more than 35 concerts live and on demand throughout the year.
