Microsoft’s open-source journey began more than 10 years ago and we’ve been a significant and growing contributor to open source projects ever since. Azure datacenters are world-class facilities with resilient components built in.
We implement all the required mechanisms to achieve high power availability in the datacenter region. We have on-site generators, redundant capabilities, two feeds to every server so if utility power fails, we can shift over to generators on the second feed without disrupting servers. We also have batteries to manage transitions between power feeds.
