Teacher swims with sharks, uses Skype in the classroom to cross the ocean

Fifth-grade teacher Arin Kress from Ohio recently went to Australia, where she swam with whale sharks. But just as important, while she was Down Under she also met the Perth students and teacher who have been using Skype to share everything from information to artwork with Kress’ students at Park Street Intermediate School in Grove City.

Office 365 developers: Open-standard JSON Light support in REST SharePoint API released

Among the feedback the team received about the API was about the payload of the data that was returned. The team’s response was to add support for JSON Light, an open standard “that allows developers to provide in the header of the request how much metadata is returned.”
