Healthcare network turns to Office 365 for emergency first, then full-scale adoption

When Hurricane Sandy hit, the nonprofit Community Healthcare Network lost its on-premise email communications, wreaking havoc on the network’s community health centers throughout New York. More than 75,000 people use CHN’s medical, dental and social services. After a few days, Jason Pomaski, CHN’s assistant vice president of technology, turned to the cloud to activate a free trial of Office 365, which helped CHN restore its email capabilities and again focus on serving patients.
