Bing polls stars for their Oscar picks and they choose Leonardo DiCaprio as ‘Best Actor’

During The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Oscar Nominees Night event, Bing polled nominees using the Bing Ballot on the red carpet and found out who the stars think will take home statues in the top categories including Best Movie, Best Actor and Best Actress. As the Bing Search Blog reports, among the Oscar nominees participating in the voting were David O. Russell, Barkhad Abdi, Jared Leto and Ethan Hawke.

Rothschild, an economist from Microsoft Research New York City, uses data from prediction markets to make his forecasts, and last year he correctly forecast winners in 19 of the 24 Academy Award categories.
