Skype for Android passes 100M installs and launches faster, easier app

On June 28, the Skype team laid out its plans for the road ahead with mobile devices, focusing on a modern design that puts conversations first, focuses on quality and performance, and delivers a common set of experiences across multiple platforms and devices. The team isn’t wasting any time delivering on its goals. Later the same day they released Skype 4.9 for iPhone and iPad. And today, the team delivered the all-new Skype for Android 4.0.
