Microsoft reiterates its commitment to youth opportunity and education as it announces it will distribute free Surface RT tablets to the schools of up to 10,000 educators attending the annual International Society for Technology in Education 2013 Conference in San Antonio. Microsoft is also offering special pricing on Surface RT tablets directly to schools and universities in 26 markets around the globe, including the U.S., for a limited time.

Bing For Schools will give U.S. schools the option to tailor the Bing experience for K-12 students by removing all advertisements from search results, enhance privacy protections and the filtering of adult content, and adding specialized learning features to improve digital literacy.
