Microsoft commended German law enforcement for its prompt arrest relating to the Sasser worm and confirmed that the company’s anti-virus reward program investigators had worked with informants on the case during the past week.
Microsoft commended the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice and U.S. Postal Inspection Service for bringing the first joint criminal and civil action against a group of alleged spammers.
