The Cantonal Hospital of Graubünden, one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland, has partnered with Microsoft, Swisscom, CompuGroup Medical, and e3 to create a proof-of-concept for an innovative clinical information system hosted on the Microsoft Cloud. This system will advance healthcare by allowing healthcare professionals to easily access patient data and make more informed treatment decisions, all while ensuring the highest compliance and data protection standards through the Microsoft Swiss datacenters.

The project is part of the hospital’s digital transformation strategy, which aims to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery and enhance patient satisfaction.

Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, said: «The Cantonal Hospital of Graubünden proves once again that it is a pioneer in the healthcare sector when it comes to cutting-edge technology and data protection. Through its innovative collaboration with Swisscom and CompuGroup Medical on the hospital information system in the Microsoft Cloud, encrypted and protected by e3 technologies, the KSGR is setting new standards and demonstrating how the digital transformation in healthcare can be driven forward in Switzerland and beyond.»
