BETT , one of the largest education technology conferences in the world, was held in London last week.
Microsoft had a large stand at the event, which featured 850 companies, 103 start-ups and 34,700 attendees from 131 countries. Staff from the technology business gave talks, demos and speeches, while also talking to teachers, education experts and school pupils about why Surface, Office and Minecraft are perfect for the classroom.
Anthony Salcito, Vice President of Education at Microsoft, used his keynote to say that the UK is leading the way in how technology should be used in school .
