Millie Yong is the Director of Solution Sales at Microsoft Malaysia. As part of her role, she provides sales and technical thought leadership to empower digital transformation acceleration across Enterprise customers, by aligning Microsoft solutions to their digital needs. Millie nurtures a team of specialist sellers and technical specialists to execute the best-in-class cloud service and platforms for customers. Working in conjunction with Microsoft’s Specialist Team, Customer Success and Partners, key focus areas for her and her team include providing new and relevant cross-tech solutions to clients while developing their digital capability and capability.
A highly accomplished leader and sales executive in the technology industry, Millie joined Microsoft in 2018 with a wealth of experience and expertise across industries. During her 20 years of career experience, she has contributed her expertise to various industries such as Financial Services Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Conglomerates, Retail and the Government sectors. She is deeply passionate and optimistic about the opportunities technology can offer to enhance the lives of every person and organization on the planet.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Millie spent close to 12 years at IBM, where she held several senior positions which include the General Manager of IBM Systems and Country Sales Manager for Banking, Insurance and Finance Sectors. Prior to that, she was with Siemens and Hewlett–Packard, holding both sales and technical roles.
Millie graduated from Deakin University, Victoria, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Economics. During her spare time, Millie enjoys spending time with her dog and helping stray animals.
