Carlos Rodriguez

Dec. 5, 2025 – Carlos Rodriguez left the Microsoft Board of Directors after deciding not to seek re-election.

Carlos Rodriguez served as chief executive officer of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Inc., a leading global technology company providing human capital management solutions. Rodriguez then transitioned to executive chair of ADP’s board of directors and currently serves as a non-employee director.

A recognized leader in the human capital management industry, Rodriguez served as ADP’s sixth CEO since its 1949 founding from 2011 through 2022 and led the global tech company through significant shifts in the world of work including the impacts of digital transformation. Under his leadership, the company accelerated its transition from payroll processor to human capital management innovator, leveraging its vast workforce data and advanced technology to design a better workplace experience.

Rodriguez holds an MBA and bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.

Rodriguez joined the Microsoft board as an independent director in November 2021.
