Center that provides training to help the visually impaired hone their tech skills opens in India
The Computer Training Center for the Visually Challenged – Low Vision and Blind is expected to support 128 students in its first year, using assistive technology such as JAWS, MAGic, NVDA and Window-Eyes screen readers, which read text aloud to a user, explains Juhee Ahmed, corporate social responsibility lead at the Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC).
