“Destiny” is right around the corner, hitting Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Sept. 9 – and this week the beta became available. Now there’s a video that shows some of the key features and activities that you won’t want to miss.

At a developer panel at San Diego Comic-Con, a 343 Industries panel revealed new details for one of this year’s most anticipated games: “Halo: The Master Chief Collection.” They presented the completely re-mastered campaign of “Halo 2: Anniversary” and an all-new re-imagined competitive multiplayer map in the fan-favorite “Zanzibar.”

There are only two episodes left in the soccer reality show, “Every Street United” on Xbox Video, and you won’t want to miss this Sunday’s episode, where mentors Thierry Henry and Edgar Davids choose the two teams for the 4v4 game. The winning team from the 4v4 game will get to try out for a professional contract with the Seattle Sounders FC.

“Help us deliver the game you deserve,” Bungie writes on its website. “Before we shut this party down, we’ll welcome everyone who wants a preview of this brave new world. If you have yet to play ‘Destiny,’ look for offers to download the beta directly from your console.”

Because the Crucible “is its own animal,” the Xbox Wire crew has come up with a helpful list of “do’s and don’ts” for how to best approach “this deadly arena.” Do be patient, they say. “You won’t unlock access to the Crucible until you hit Level 5, so don’t think you’re missing something if you can’t find it right off the bat.”

At San Diego Comic-Con, 343 Industries and Scott Free Productions gave fans a first look at “Halo: Nightfall,” the original live-action digital series executive produced by Ridley Scott that will be out in November on Xbox.
