Microsoft announces Brussels Transparency Center at Munich Security Conference

Microsoft will open an international Transparency Center in Brussels, which will offer government customers an increased ability to review our source code. The Brussels center will build upon on Micrsosoft’s long-standing program that provides government customers with the ability to review our source code, reassure themselves of its integrity and confirm there are no back doors.

Microsoft YouthSpark helps build a brighter future for Dallas kids

Today, almost half of the job openings in Dallas require a bachelor’s degree, while only 37 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds in the city are enrolled in higher education. Microsoft executives met with city leaders this week to find out how YouthSpark can help.

Wi-Fi drivers for Windows Embedded Compact 2013 are now available

Since the launch of Windows Embedded Compact 2013, Wi-Fi drivers have been a key requested feature. Now, according to Partha Srinivasan at the Windows Embedded Blog, “We have exciting news to share: One of our Windows Embedded Compact partners, embWise, recently announced the availability of a WLAN driver, and partner iWave systems is in the process of making Wi-Fi drivers available soon.”
