City Bridge-NewSchools Education Innovation Fellowship blends traditional classroom teaching with computer technologies

Pleas for better technology funding are usually top of the list for educators, but you might be surprised to hear that some teachers worry about computers impeding their efforts to connect with students. That was the case for eighth-grade math teacher Melissa Mauter before she and 11 other D.C.-area teachers began a CityBridge-NewSchools Education Innovation fellowship – a year-long program supported by Microsoft.
