As their favorite soccer teams battle to win the World Cup in South Africa, students from across the globe are in Warsaw, Poland, to find out who will win the World Cup of technology.

Competitors at the Microsoft-sponsored 2010 Imagine Cup World Finals experienced their first round of competition on Sunday, July 4. Competition continues through Thursday, when the winners of the competition will be announced.

The 2010 Imagine Cup World Finals kicked off Saturday, July 3, in Warsaw, Poland. Four-hundred students from 70 countries and regions are participating. More than 325,000 students entered in this year’s competition.
