Bing and SkyDrive bring out the words in photos

Starting Wednesday, when you take photos with your Windows Phone device and auto-upload to your SkyDrive camera roll folder, a new Bing-powered optical character recognition tool (OCR) will run on those photos so you can instantly see the extracted text in those pictures.

Bing for Schools offers new ad-free search experience for students

The pilot program, called Bing for Schools, allows districts to remove all ads from Web searches on school computers – the first time a major search engine has offered schools this choice. Bing for Schools also offers enhanced privacy protections, strict filters to block adult content and daily learning activities built around the Bing Home Page.
