Microsoft awards academic grants focused on innovative datacenter and energy efficiency

Each year Microsoft issues a request for proposals for the Software Engineering Innovation Foundation (SEIF), to research teams across the world to support academic research in software engineering technologies, tools, practices and teaching methods. New this year was a contest expansion that includes applications geared toward datacenter innovation and energy efficiency.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, Microsoft celebrates four special educators

In the U.S., Friday marks the end of Teacher Appreciation Week. You’ve probably seen tons of social media posts and photos from parents making all kinds of sweet treats and gifts for these special people in their children’s lives.
