From New Jersey to Ghana, the Work Wonders Project is already changing lives and helping students. Last month, the project kicked off a fun – but important – challenge, between two very bright but philosophically different men to collaborate on ways to revolutionize education using Office 365.

“Office 365 will allow our mobile workforce, like our social workers, district attorneys, assessors, field investigators, animal control and coroners, to be more mobile,” said Peter Loo, the county’s chief deputy chief information officer.

When a rail line near Chicago’s Logan Square became obsolete in the late 1990s, Chicagoans wondered how they could keep the rail line in place while transforming it into open space for recreation in an area covering five city neighborhoods and 80,000 people.

Texas’ largest school district is transitioning 14,000 students and 1,200 teachers to Microsoft Office 365 and HP Elitebook Folio 9470m Ultrabooks running Windows as part its PowerUp initiative, an effort to create transformative learning using digital tools.
