Microsoft employees use productivity tools first so customers can use them better

In this episode of “Digital Now,” Nathalie D’Hers, Microsoft corporate vice president, Digital Employee Experience, explains how her team of engineers envision and execute the experience that Microsoft wants to deliver not just to its own employees, but also to its customers.

“Digital Now” is a video series hosted by Andrew Wilson, chief digital officer at Microsoft, who invites friends and industry leaders inside and outside of Microsoft to share how they are tackling digital and business transformation, and explores themes like the future of work, security, artificial intelligence and the democratization of code and data.

Wilson and D’Hers also discuss how a sense of inclusion led to more satisfaction with online meetings early in the pandemic; the features of the Viva platform that D’Hers appreciates most; and how her organization transformed from a traditional IT team to an outcome-based group wholly dedicated to enhancing all aspects of the employee experience.
