Microsoft Statement: Motorola Patent Ruling

REDMOND, Wash. – April 11, 2012 – The following is a statement from Microsoft Deputy General Counsel David Howard regarding the Microsoft v. Motorola Mobility case, heard before the U.S. District Court of Western Washington at Seattle:

“Motorola promised to make its patents available to Microsoft and other companies on fair and reasonable terms. Today’s ruling means Motorola can’t prevent Microsoft from selling products until the court decides whether Motorola has lived up to its promise.”
