Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet, starting at $299.99, at major retailers starting this week

Dell’s 8-inch Venue 8 Pro Windows tablet has begun shipping, and starting at $299.99, the device has “an incredible HD IPS display running at a 1280 x 800 resolution,” according to Brandon LeBlanc of the Windows Experience Blog. Starting this week, the Venue 8 Pro will be available at Walmart, Costco, Office Max, Amazon.com and the Microsoft Store. You’ll also be able to find it later this month at MicroCenter, NewEgg, BJs and HH Greg.

Gamers make first contact with Xbox One at Electronic Game Show in Mexico

The recent 12th annual Electronic Game Show in Mexico City teemed with more than 30,000 visitors who had the chance to play the most highly-anticipated Xbox One titles for the first time in the country. The show opened Nov. 8 with thousands eager to make get their hands on exclusive Xbox One games including “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Killer Instinct,” “Forza Motorsport 5” and “Crimson Dragon.”
