After implant, boy hears his mother’s voice for the first time over Skype

After Jenri Rivera, 7, got a new cochlear implant in his ear, he did what’s becoming natural these days whenever someone goes through a big event in their life: He went on Skype to share the moment with his loved ones. But in this case the event was extra momentous, because it would be the first time Jenri had ever heard his mother’s voice.
