A troupe of Cirque du Soleil performers helped Microsoft unveil the name of its hands-free gaming device Sunday night, introducing Kinect for Xbox 360 to the world in front of a red-carpet audience.
Microsoft on Monday announced that Kinect for Xbox 360 will launch with an array of games from both Microsoft and its industry partners. And with Kinect, there is no controller required to play.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on Monday, Microsoft introduced Kinect for Xbox 360, a new Xbox 360 console, a new game franchise, and an Xbox LIVE collaboration with ESPN.
