From demons to dogs – DOOM: The Bark Ages is Xbox’s way of supporting animal welfare organizations across the U.S. and recognizing the launch of Bethesda and id Software’s newest game.
While Seattle Humane has been saving lives and completing families in Microsoft’s backyard for decades, this is their first collaboration with Xbox.
They havelotsof programs to strengthen the human-animal bond, including temporary foster care, a Pet Food Bank and funds to cover emergency pet care costs.
Against all the wicked diseases the universe can produce, Seattle Humane’s world-class veterinary clinic will deliver unto vulnerable pets the gift of healing.(That’s DOOM speak, obvs.)
Pets often come into the Nebraska Humane Society from a world of “doom and gloom” (ahem, to take the game’s POV). For 150 years, NHS has provided help and hope.
NHS has experienced the generosity of the gaming community first-hand and is excited to partner with Xbox, Bethesda and id Software.
The focus for NHS has shifted from pet adoption to keepingthose pets in their homes, with several community programs to assist with just that!
The Montgomery County Humane Society rescues vulnerable cats and dogs, showers them with love and care, and provides everything they need to thrive until they find loving new families.
MCHS adopters are never alone. If they need assistance with a new pet transition, or any other pet-related questions or concerns, MCHS is always there to help.
MCHS operates Hanna’s Clinic, which provides affordable spay/neuter services and vaccinations, and their Pet Food Pantry helps pet owners facing financial hardship.
