The 2014 awards season came to a close last night with the 86th annual Academy Awards, and Bing was right there from the red carpet to the wins to monitor the pulse of viewers and fans to see the most searched moments throughout the evening.

The Bing Dev Center is now the place for all developer-focused content about Bing Maps. Now, developer resources live in one place where you’ll find Bing Maps blog posts, check in on the forums and access controls and documentation downloads.

“I grew up with thunder and lightning storms in Florida, but as the latest Bing home page shows, there’s something spectacular about capturing such storms above one of the seven natural wonders of the world.”

Tax time doesn’t have to be taxing, not when Bing makes it easy to find the one thing that people are searching for this time of year: tax forms.

In December, the Bing Maps Preview app launched on Windows 8.1, introducing 360-degree views of cities that put you right in the middle of the action. Now, 15 more 3D cities are available for your online exploration.

The widget has four buttons that give you easy ways to return to the home page, conduct a voice search, conduct a text search or see your recent searches. Speaking of recent searches, you can manage those from your “Recent” page, and you can run multiple searches without having to get rid of the original results.
