On Tuesday, the Surface Team announced the “Transformation Challenge – Drawn Together with Surface,” which gives you two weeks to submit a three-panel drawing of a radical transformation of yourself or a fictional character.

Cincinnati Country Day School in Ohio, one of the premier schools in the U.S. and a pioneer in the use of mobile computing in education, is the first school to adopt Surface Pro 3 as its 1:1 student computing device, writes Jacqueline Russell, Microsoft Surface Education Manager.

When the Surface team attended the second annual A+ Awards in New York City in May, it did so as a co-sponsor and presented a special Architecture+Technology award to David Benjamin, who founded The Living firm in 2006.

On Thursday Cyril Belikoff, senior director at Microsoft Surface, revealed on the Surface blog that big companies – such as BMW Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy and others – “have already committed to purchasing and deploying Surface Pro 3 as one of the choices inside their organizations.”

The new pen for Surface Pro 3 has been human-tested – and robot-tested – for accuracy, something that’s of huge importance to the artists and other creative types who will be using it.
