This week, 24,000 people – including 7,000 CIOs – will come together in Barcelona for the Gartner Symposium Europe 2016. Microsoft will help to lead the debate as thousands of CIOs discuss how they can drive digital into the very heart of their products, processes and talent. We’re also there to listen, and will be hearing from leading senior IT decision makers who are preparing for – and capitalizing on – the disruptive digital trends that promise to deliver long-term business benefits.
At the show, senior executives including Julia White, Corporate Vice President, Cloud Platform Marketing, will talk to CIOs about how to successfully reimagine and implement new digitally-fuelled business models to get ahead of the competition. James Staten, Chief Strategist, Cloud and Enterprise, will discuss how companies have digitally transformed with Microsoft Azure, without sacrificing security. And Roy Sharples, Director of Marketing, and Fred Warren Creative Director, Connected Digital Services, will focus on the digitally-driven industrial revolution and the limitless opportunities it offers forward-thinking businesses.
In the Microsoft Learning Lab we’ll be sharing our vision for the future and how it will impact day to day productivity. Looking ahead 10-15 years, we’ll offer a sneak peek into how people can achieve more with new emerging technologies. Technologies like HoloLens, the world’s first self-contained holographic computer running Windows 10, which is now available for pre-order in select markets in Europe. HoloLens is already helping customers like Audi to reimagine the future of automotive design, and enabling partners like NASA bring mixed reality to space exploration and discovery.
The overarching theme for this year’s show is Lead 360. We can’t wait to hear more from the world’s smartest CIOs, and understand how they’re using an unrivalled 360-degree view of their organizations to react to emerging trends, jump on unexpected opportunities and mitigate disruptive threats.
